I use infrared light therapy for both recovery after gym and pain management. This mat is easy to use. It's great for a session before sleeping at night or taking naps in the afternoon. I just lie on it on my back in my bed, power it up, set the timer and snooze. Being able to lie on my back is more comfortable than my other ones where I have to lie on my front to get treatment for my whole back. The timer can be set up to 90 mins per session which is much longer than my other ones. With this one, I don't have to check if the time is up and to reset it a few times. The attached neck roll is a plus. I get to treat all the places I need treatment all at once - my neck, shoulders, upper back and lower back.
I work retail and use this red light mat when I get home from work. The lights on the neck support target my upper back and neck too! Rather than trying to wrap something around my upper back and hold it in place, it was nice to just lie down on the mat. The controls are easy to understand and use. Love the 5 light settings, 2 pulsing settings and timer. It is comfortable and rolls up for easy storage. The dark glasses are sturdy and block the red light well. Great product!!
